In the next moment, the monster bird turned into melting black water that splattered in all directions before vanishing into the air. Only a nauseating stench remained, so foul that it was almost unbearable.

The Red Panda perched on Duanmu Huai's shoulder also let out an unhappy growl and covered its nose with both tiny paws.
Clearly, it couldn't stand the smell either.
