"Who are you?"
"I'm Tezuka Renichi, Group Leader of the Takatsuki Group. State your name! Whoever you are, you're not allowed to run wild on Takatsuki Group territory!"
"I'm no gangster."
Duanmu Huai rolled his eyes.
"Open your damn eyes and take a good look. I'm a detective!"
"...Huh?"
"Eh?"
Hearing Duanmu Huai's answer, not only did the man look astonished, even the gangsters who had been sprawled on the ground, crying bloody murder after Minme Satori cut them down, raised their heads and stared at him in disbelief. Seeing their expressions, Duanmu Huai grew even more irritated.
"What are you looking at?! Do I look like a gangster to you?!"
"I see."
After hearing Duanmu Huai introduce himself, Tezuka Renichi nodded.
"So you're the Yakuza Detective... I've heard a great deal about you. I never expected you to come here."
"That's right."
Although he was rather unhappy with the nickname, Duanmu Huai still nodded.
"Now you understand, right? I'm not here to smash up your business, and I'm not here to steal your territory. I'm here to investigate a case! All right, if there's nothing else, we'll be leaving!"
With that, Duanmu Huai turned to leave with Minme Satori. Just then, even more men in black suits rushed over and blocked their path.
