For Duanmu Huai, the origins of this girl were something of a mystery. He still remembered that this had been in the Type-Moon World. Back then, Fiolee's family had wanted to relocate, and they found a leyline site. However, they discovered that the leyline there had been intercepted. Fiolee had asked Duanmu Huai and Medea for help, and when they went to investigate, they found that a mage had designed the place into a self-operating Leyline Bedrock. Its core was this girl sealed inside the crystal.
Later, when Duanmu Huai went to examine the girl, he was shocked to discover that she was actually connected to Yog-Sothoth. At the time, Yog-Sothoth had even been trying to descend into the Type-Moon World through this vessel!
Duanmu Huai had been scared half to death back then. Fortunately, he had already become a Great Old One, so he decisively used his Old God Power to corrode and assimilate the girl. Then he unhesitatingly opened the door and unleashed the hounds, summoning Lord of Tindalos to fight Yog-Sothoth to the death. Taking advantage of the opportunity, he severed the connection and stuffed the girl into the deepest corner of his inventory.
