The aquarium was packed with people during the holiday break.
Couples out on dates and families on outings were everywhere. Everyone strolled through the aquarium, admiring the beautiful marine world before them and soaking in the cheerful, joyful atmosphere.
But there were exceptions.
"...Why do I have to come to the aquarium with you?"
Arima Kana wore a sour expression as she glared at Kurokawa Akane beside her.
"That's my line... If I had a choice, I wouldn't want to come to the aquarium with you either."
Kurokawa Akane gave a soft snort and said nothing more.
"But this is part of the job. What else can I do..."
"Exactly. It's just work..."
Arima Kana sighed helplessly. The two of them had recently worked together to shoot a promotional video. Since the video involved a collaboration with the aquarium, they had come here ahead of time to inspect the place. That was why they had come during Golden Week—of course, both of them were in disguise. Otherwise, this place would have turned into a fan-meeting site long ago.
"Anyway, let's walk around first. Where should we go? How about watching the dolphin show?"
Arima Kana flipped through the aquarium brochure as she asked, while Kurokawa Akane looked around. Then she suddenly froze and grabbed Arima Kana.
"Xiao Ai is over there!"
"Huh? How could Xiao Ai possibly be at the aquarium?"
Hearing Kurokawa Akane, Arima Kana also raised her head and looked in the direction Kurokawa Akane had indicated.
"Where?"
"Over there!"
As she spoke, Kurokawa Akane pointed at a figure standing in front of a fish tank across from them. Arima Kana narrowed her eyes to get a better look, then frowned.
"That's a boy, isn't it?"
"No, that's Xiao Ai. She's just disguised herself."
"How can you tell?"
