We triggered a special mission. It requires us to investigate the location of a Mechanicus Cult base. According to reliable evidence, that base has already fallen into corruption. All we need to do is investigate what happened there, then destroy it completely.

Believe me, this must be the work of the Deceitful Trickster again. Those tech-priests never learn their lesson. This is why the scientists are always the ones who get themselves killed in science-fiction horror movies. And every time, we have to clean up after those bastards. So can we file a report and declare the Mechanicus Cult Heretics? That way, we won't have to wonder every time we meet a tech-priest whether we should execute them on the spot.

DAY 1 17:20

We investigated the base. The situation... was somewhat beyond our expectations. The Tech-Priests don't seem to have changed much. That's not entirely true, though. They seem to worship the God of Machines with extraordinary fervor, which isn't surprising. After all, they're the Mechanicus Cult, and they worship the Omnissiah, although whether the Omnissiah actually exists is another question.

But that isn't important. We discovered that these Tech-Priests had undergone unimaginably extensive Human Modification. The Flesh is Weak, Mechanical Ascension, right? So can we kill them now? Not yet? We have to wait until we find evidence? I think finding it after killing them would work just as well.
