Watching the Spectacle

The projector screen in front of Ning Yifan attracted the onlookers who had been scattered around, drawing gasps of astonishment.

Though the display was on the ground, from the perspective of the spectators around Ning Yifan, five cards appeared to be floating right in front of him. The massive projection made it all look incredibly lifelike!

3D images, when viewed from the right angle, could be incredibly convincing. Skilled artists online often created drawings in public spaces, on roads, or on tree trunks and walls.

They would draw cracked pavement to make vehicles detour, or puddles to keep pedestrians away. Cute characters were drawn on tree trunks and walls, stopping passersby in their tracks, making people believe they were real.

The game displayed in front of Ning Yifan at this moment was no different. The few cards printed with monster illustrations didn't look like projections at all; they seemed to be genuinely floating in front of Ning Yifan and the audience.

"Is this game really this amazing?"

"Or has the Phantom Projector become this powerful? It's not full holographic projection yet, just naked-eye 3D, but it's still stunning, appearing cards out of thin air!"

The already busy street quickly formed a circle around Ning Yifan, especially around the prime viewing spot behind him.

A throng of people craned their necks, standing on tiptoe to watch the unfolding events. Some shouted loudly in the crowd, releasing their excitement.

"I know, I know! This is a Yu-Gi-Oh! card battle! It was my favorite anime growing up!"

"They're dueling right now! Let me see, in their hand, they have Baby Dragon, La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp, Right Leg of the Forbidden Dark Mage, the magic card Cost, and the trap card Time Seal. The magic and trap cards are pretty good!"

A young man on a date excitedly said to his companion, "This is so thrilling! This naked-eye 3D technology makes playing this game incredibly powerful! I hope to see the scenes I imagined as a kid!"

"Yu-Gi-Oh!? What's that?" his companion asked, confused. But it didn't matter; if he wanted to watch, they could watch here for a bit. That young man standing in front was really handsome, even his back looked good!

The companion secretly glanced at her boyfriend, relieved to see him engrossed in the game battle unfolding before them, and focused her attention on Ning Yifan.

"Hurry up and start the Yu-Gi-Oh! scenes, I can't wait!"

Those who hadn't watched the anime asked the people around them what these were, while those who had spoke of confusing things like Yugi Muto and the Millennium Puzzle.

Ning Yifan held the remote control and pointed it at the cards in front of him, like a magician casting a spell, summoning from his hand.

"I summon Baby Dragon in Defense Mode! Level 3, Wind Attribute, Dragon-Type, ATK 1200, DEF 700."

"I summon La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp in Attack Mode! Level 4, Earth Attribute, Warrior-Type, ATK 1800, DEF 1600."

As Ning Yifan made his moves, on the dueling field projected by the Phantom Projector Generation 2, a cute, orange dinosaur standing on two legs was summoned. With a roar, Baby Dragon flapped its wings and took to the air.

Beside Baby Dragon, a warrior clad in black iron armor, with a long sword and a fluttering cape, appeared, holding his sword and staring intently in the opposite direction.

"I'll set one card face-down and end my turn."

Most of the audience didn't notice Ning Yifan's actions, and those who did didn't pay much attention.

All eyes were focused on the two monsters projected by the Phantom Projector Generation 2.

"Wuwuwu, they're real, real monsters are out!" a young man with a backpack exclaimed, his face flushed, almost moved to tears!

Looking at the two monsters, someone sighed, "This 3D technology is unbeatable. Even though it's just a 3D image, it looks so real!"

"That warrior is so cool, his murderous aura is perfectly captured!"

"This is magic, magic! It's like the scenes from the game are being recreated!"

On the opponent's turn, they summoned a Cyclops in Defense Position. The monster was muscular, with a single vertical eye on its forehead, wielding a shield and a large sword. It raised its shield in a defensive stance, ready for anything.

The turn ended. The opponent drew a card, and the battle continued.
