Three days passed in the blink of an eye.
Early that morning, after breakfast, Grandpa Liu brought his wife to the Jiuzhou Store again.
He'd thought he was already getting there early enough to finish the paperwork and get some driving practice in.
He hadn't expected everyone else to have the same idea!
Looking at the huge crowd of middle-aged and elderly people in front of him, Grandpa Liu said helplessly,
"It's only just past eight in the morning. How come there are so many people? The waiting area's almost full!"
"Wait here for a bit. I'll go join the line."
After settling his wife, Grandpa Liu joined the queue. Fortunately, although there were a lot of people, there were plenty of sales staff, too.
More than a dozen salespeople could each take a group of customers to see their cars, then escort them to the finance department to pay and take delivery once everything checked out.
With the sales staff working busily, more than an hour passed. Grandpa Liu finished inspecting his Jiuzhou Mini and paid the full purchase price.
In the parking area behind the store, Grandpa Liu pressed the remote key, and the lights on a white Jiuzhou Mini flashed.
The little white car would belong to them from now on!
"Come on, let's take it for a drive. Hopefully we'll be able to drive it on the road ourselves today."
With his wife beside him, Grandpa Liu climbed into the driver's seat.
"How much of the video have you watched these past two days?"
"No problem at all. It's an hour long, and I haven't left the house these past few days. I've watched it more than ten times!
"I know the whole thing by heart. Just wait and see me show off in a bit!"
