Chiya walked out of the Barbecue Restaurant and stretched lazily.
What was with Hatake Sakumo, telling everyone everything?
This Hokage... cough, cough.
Why would this Clan Leader have such thoughts?
Chiya looked toward Hokage Rock in the distance.
With the Third Shinobi War imminent, even if he wanted that position, he would have to wait until it was over before considering it...
The aroma of grilled meat still lingered on his lips, but his gaze had already passed over Hokage Rock and drifted toward the Uchiha Training Ground.
As he passed through the familiar forest path, the outline of the Training Ground gradually came into view.
From afar, a small, thin figure dressed in Uchiha clan attire was sweating profusely in the field.
The whistling of Kunai cutting through the air mixed with the scrape of footsteps against the sand, showing just how focused he was.
The corner of Chiya's mouth lifted slightly.
It was him.
Shisui Uchiha.
"Your movements are too slow!"
Chiya suddenly called out, amusement in his voice.
Shisui whipped around. The instant he recognized the newcomer, surprise burst into his eyes.
"Teacher!"
He put away his Kunai, hurried over to Chiya, and bowed respectfully.
"You're here!"
Chiya ruffled his hair.
"Two years without seeing you, and you've grown quite a bit. How has your training been?"
Shisui smiled shyly, then his gaze turned resolute.
"Teacher, ever since you left Konoha, I haven't relaxed my training for even a day."
"Oh? You've been working that hard?"
Chiya took several steps back, opening some distance between them.
"Then let me see how much you've improved."
Shisui nodded.
He knew his teacher was about to test the results of his training.
He did not dare be careless. Chakra surged through his body as he shot forward like an arrow
