Konoha's winter arrived silently, yet with unmistakable clarity.

As if overnight, delicate snowflakes danced like sprites, covering every corner of the rooftops, treetops, and Training Ground.

Morning sunlight filtered through thin clouds and fell upon the pristine snow, reflecting a crystal-clear gleam. The air was cold and fresh, carrying a sharp sweetness with every breath.

Chiyo held Mirai and Chiemi's hands, one in each hand.

They stepped through the snow toward the Seventh Training Ground.

The two little girls wore thick cotton coats, fluffy hats, and gloves, looking like two round little bears.

They hopped through the snow, leaving behind strings of cheerful little footprints.

"Father, Father, the snow is so soft!"

Mirai grabbed a handful of snow and tried to roll it into a ball, but her little hands lacked the strength, and the snow crumbled apart, leaving her hand icy cold. She did not mind at all and merely giggled.

Chiemi was quieter. She carefully stepped into the footprints Father had left behind and looked up at Chiyo.

"Father, will Sister Hikari teach us Chakra control today?"

"She'll teach you something more interesting.

As for Chakra control, there's no need to rush! You'll learn it sooner or later!"

Chiyo smiled as he looked at his two daughters' rosy little faces, his heart softening.

He had deliberately brought them out on this snowy day not only to let them exercise, but also because he wanted to see that easily embarrassed girl more often.

Sure enough, Uchiha Hikari had already arrived at the Training Ground.

Today, she wore a light-purple turtleneck sweater beneath a short padded jacket bearing the Uchiha Clan Crest. Her long black hair was still tied in a ponytail, with several strands hanging by her cheeks and fluttering slightly in the cold wind.

She was breathing white
