Chiyo Steps In to Resolve the Crisis; Are You Hurt?

When Chiyo and Abihime rushed back to the camp, the battle had already reached its fiercest point.

The once orderly camp was now in ruins. Tents had been set ablaze, and thick smoke billowed into the sky.

Bird Tribe warriors clashed fiercely with enemies in the air and on the ground. Arrows, demonic arts, and claws intertwined beneath the night sky, forming a net of death.

The enemies were not from the Mountain Cat Tribe.

At their head stood three Great Demons with formidable auras.

One wielded twin blades made of bone and was wrapped in gray deathly energy. Another was thin as a bamboo pole, with black claws extending from all ten fingers. The third was the strangest of all, seemingly without a physical body, merely a mass of black mist constantly changing shape.

Chiyo seemed not to have seen any of these demons before.
