Good Intentions Mistaken for Donkey Livers and Lungs

Ye Tian and Hu Liena watched Bibi Dong's figure disappear from view.

They looked at each other...

Both somewhat at a loss.

The two had merely come face-to-face with Bibi Dong, yet they had both noticed that something seemed off with her.

Before, if Bibi Dong saw the two of them being so affectionate, she would at least respond with a cold glare, or even reprimand them.

Compared to then, Bibi Dong now seemed much calmer.

Could this be a sign that a storm was about to arrive?

Ye Tian felt somewhat uneasy.

He still was not strong enough. Going to Death Canyon to tame a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast had to be put on the agenda as soon as possible!

Then, the sound of Bibi Dong's unhurried footsteps reached Ye Tian and Hu Liena's ears.

Hu Liena subconsciously clutched Ye Tian's lapel, her fingers trembling.

"Senior Brother... what do we do?"

Hu Liena lowered her voice, a trace of panic in her orange eyes.

"Teacher definitely saw us just now, right...?"

Ye Tian gave Hu Liena an annoyed look.

She was terrible at it, yet loved doing it.

Even so, Ye Tian gently patted Hu Liena's back, soothing her emotions.

"It's fine. She doesn't eat people."

Ye Tian smiled.

His black eyes then looked toward the stairway.

In truth, he was not very confident either.

Logically speaking, he should have been the one who needed comforting.

After all, over the years, Bibi Dong had never truly punished Hu Liena for anything. Instead, she had devoured quite a bit of his life force.

That was really hard on the body!

At the stairway, Bibi Dong came up holding her scepter. Not a ripple could be seen on that beautiful face of hers. Her gaze slowly swept over Hu Liena's flushed face
