Background / History

Tang San held both the Sea God and Asura God divine positions, making him the God Realm's leading figure. He opposed the revival of the Angel God lineage and regarded Qian Chaoyun's potential ascension as a threat to the God Realm's balance 192 193.

When Qian Chaoyun became a Titled Douluo, Tang San summoned him and offered him the God of Emotion's inheritance. The offer required Qian Chaoyun to abandon his Angel bloodline and Sacred Angel Martial Soul; Qian Chaoyun refused outright 193.

Tang San later sought to eliminate Qian Chaoyun indirectly, including enlisting Ye Xishui with an offer to restore the Rakshasa God position in exchange for Qian Chaoyun's death 248. His conflict with Qian Renxue ultimately ended with his defeat, the collapse of the Sea God position, and the transfer of his divine power and essence to her 291 292.
