Qian Chaoyun recovered from near death, joined Shrek Academy, and used his power to hunt Evil Spirit Masters and defend Huo Yuhao. The Academy made him an Enforcement Captain and arranged an early Inner Court assessment while Ma Xiaotao continued relying on him to suppress her Evil Fire.

• Sky Dream Ice Silkworm fused with the revived Qian Chaoyun, and Electrolux's Divine Sense Fragment joined them as Qian Chaoyun awakened a second martial soul and the Define Evil Soul System.
• Qian Chaoyun rescued the injured Ma Xiaotao, suppressed her Evil Fire, and joined Shrek Academy as Xuan Zi’s disciple under Mu En and Zhang Lexuan’s guidance.
• Qian Chaoyun trained in the City of Slaughter, killed several Fallen Ones and Evil Spirit Masters, and advanced to Level 44 before spending the next year and a half reaching Level 57.
• Qian Chaoyun met Huo Yuhao, gave him Ten Thousand Year Whale Rubber, and later confronted Dai Huabin after Dai complained about his conduct.
• Qian Chaoyun challenged Xu Sanshi after Xu destroyed Huo Yuhao’s food stall, defeated him in the arena, and nearly struck him again before Du Wilun intervened.

Qian Chaoyun completed dangerous missions and combat assessments, earning Inner Court Disciple status and a Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bone. After using its power to restore his Sacred Angel Spirit, he set out with Shrek’s team to hunt for his Sixth Spirit Ring, accompanied by the hostile Ling Luochen and Ma Xiaotao.

• Zhang Lexuan gave Qian Chaoyun dangerous Inner Court assessment missions, and he began preparing while training Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong to face Dai Huabin.
• Qian Chaoyun killed six Evil Spirit Masters who ambushed him and the two freshmen, then survived a three-minute fight against a ten-thousand-year Flame Demon Tiger.
• Qian Chaoyun and Ling Luochen joined Xu Jiujiu to infiltrate the Underground Market, where they exposed an infant-smuggling network and fought its Evil Spirit Master leaders.
• After Lord Gao’s self-destruction, Tang Qi accused Qian Chaoyun of failing to save him, but Shrek’s Resident Elders judged Qian’s actions proper and cleared him of wrongdoing.

• Cai Meier led the Soul Hunting team toward the Star Dou Great Forest with Qian Chaoyun, Ling Luochen, and Ma Xiaotao, who remained hostile toward each other.

Qian Chaoyun gained the Snow Empress as his Second Martial Soul, then earned Shrek’s recognition after acquiring a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring. The arc ended with him lavishing gifts on Xiao Xiao at Shrek City’s Treasure Gathering Pavilion.

• Qian Chaoyun helped Ye Guyi obtain a Holy Unicorn Soul Ring and Soul Bone, then absorbed a Light Lion King Soul Ring and reached level sixty-five.
• Qian Chaoyun watched Huo Yuhao’s team win the New Student Competition, then received Xuan Zi’s permission to train in the Extreme North.
• Qian Chaoyun rescued the Snow Empress from a Sun Moon Empire Soul Engineer and made an Ice God Contract with her, gaining the Heavenly Snow Woman Martial Soul and four seven-hundred-thousand-year Soul Rings.

Qian Chaoyun strengthened his allies, led Shrek’s Second Team through the captain selection and a dangerous bandit mission, and helped expose the cost of the First Team’s recklessness. The teams reached Star Luo City, where Qian Chaoyun prepared to lead his squad in the competition.

• Qian Chaoyun gave Wang Dong a Ten Thousand Year Golden Light Left Arm Bone, gave Jiang Nannan Millennium Whale Rubber, and later offered Ling Luochen a thirty-thousand-year Snow Lotus.
• Qian Chaoyun purified Ma Xiaotao’s Evil Fire, transforming her martial soul into a Fire Phoenix, then joined Xiao Xiao on a mission to defeat Leng Xue and the other Evil Spirit Masters.
• Xiao Xiao qualified for the Reserve Team, and Qian Chaoyun won the Captain Selection Tournament before choosing the Second Team and its lineup.
• Qian Chaoyun trained both teams, helped Ling Luochen evolve her martial soul into Ultimate Ice, and led the Second Team in a test battle against Ma Xiaotao’s First Team.
• Shrek’s teams traveled toward Star Luo City and accepted a mission to attack the Death Hand Bandit Group in the Ming Dou Mountain Range.
• Dai Yueheng, Tang Qi, and Gongyang Mo rushed into the bandits’ cave, where the Death Messenger’s Corpse Explosions killed Tang Qi and Gongyang Mo and badly wounded Dai Yueheng.
• Qian Chaoyun purified the fleeing Death Messenger, while Xuan Zi accepted responsibility for the deaths and resigned his Academy posts after a Sea God Pavilion meeting.
