"Uh, Xing Zai."
Though he had a bad feeling about this, Huang Bo still steeled himself and called out again.
To his surprise, a smile appeared on the usually meticulous Stephen Chow's face. "From now on, you can call me that in private. I like the sound of it."
After speaking, Stephen Chow glanced over at Zhang Yang, then took his script and went to find Wen Zhang.
Huang Bo was a smart man and immediately figured it out.
Stephen Chow liked being called "Xing Zai." It made him sound young and complimented his looks.
But in public, of course, they still had to call him Director. After all, he had to manage and coordinate the whole crew.
"Who knew Master Xing was such a closet flirt?" Huang Bo thought with a chuckle, looking toward where Zhang Yang stood.
"Sister Xiangwan, Sister Wang, Xiao Tao, Brother Liu, I look forward to working with you."
Zhang Yang was getting to know his small team. Mo Xiangwan was the agent assistant Cai Yinong had just promoted; she would be his executive agent. Xiao Tao was his personal assistant, Sister Wang was the makeup artist, and Brother Liu was the driver and part-time bodyguard, a former soldier in his thirties.
Tangren would pay their wages. But if he established his own studio in the future, he would have to cover their salaries himself, even as he reduced the share of his income paid to the company.
Zhang Yang planned to carefully assess their character and abilities. If they met his standards, he would poach them later.
After they had introduced themselves, Zhang Yang turned to Nazha, who looked a little glum. "Junior, you'll have it easy from now on. You won't have to be my personal assistant anymore."
"I don't mind," Nazha muttered.
