"It should only be around the stage between the First Crow and the Second Crow. The borders have only just been opened, so the vast majority of citizens probably know nothing about foreign countries."
But Mousse had no trouble guessing the reason.
"Maybe only the coastal regions are better off. The coast I passed before was on the opposite side of Ohara, too far away. Do I need to cross the continent and ask around on the coast over there?"
Fortunately, Big Head really did fly fast. Crossing the continent took just over two hours, and Mousse had only just finished lunch.
"Flying really is awesome! If I had gone by ship, it would've taken months no matter what, right?"
After flying just once, Mousse already felt that he never wanted to travel by ship again for the rest of his life.
But relying on Big Head for transport forever was not a solution. It was fine with Mousse alone for now, but if there were more crew members, there would be no way they could all fit.
The idea that had already begun to take root in Mousse's mind suddenly grew much stronger. "I really do need to make some kind of aircraft. But should I build a plane, or choose the simpler option of an airship?"
It seemed that very few people in the Flower Kingdom knew of Ohara. Even after Mousse reached the coastline nearest to it, he still could not find anyone who knew.
Fortunately, perhaps because this side was more prosperous, a far greater proportion of people spoke the Official Language. He even occasionally encountered one or two people who could speak the Common Tongue, making it much easier for Mousse to ask around.
