The Great Universe formed from the most core portion of the former Origin Heaven and Earth after the Supreme Rule of Time shattered and Origin Heaven and Earth collapsed. It has since undergone repeated Great Destruction cycles, with each new Great Universe smaller than its predecessor. 274 315

Nine Supreme Rules underpin the cosmic starry sky and extend throughout every level of the Great Universe. 195

Origin Land of the Universe

The Origin Land is the Great Universe’s core. During the universe’s early birth stage, it was open to Cosmic Lifeforms, allowing them to comprehend the Nine Supreme Rules far more easily than in the outside universe. 220

• It contains seven continents separated by the Boundless Sea, each named for a Supreme Being of the Era of Creation. 260
• After the initial stage of the universe’s birth, it became sealed and only reopens after extremely long intervals. 220

Will of the Great Universe

The Will of the Great Universe automatically removes forces that obstruct the universe’s operation. Its influence is especially hostile toward the Forbidden Secret Realms, which continuously devour the universe’s origin. 274

Favor and Recompense

Destroying or severely damaging a Forbidden Secret Realm earns favor from the Great Universe, reducing the difficulty of a Cosmic Lifeform’s Ultimate Leap. 231

• After Su Yuan destroyed Space-Time Island, the Great Universe immediately replenished most of the energy he had expended. 272
• By leveling all nine Forbidden Secret Realms, Su Yuan gained the Great Universe’s maximum favor: one million years of favor comparable to the status of a Rule Lifeform. 274
• This favor let Su Yuan observe the universe and its Supreme Rules from the Great Universe’s own perspective. 274
• The favor vanished after Su Yuan became a Chaotic Lifeform, as he had transcended the Great Universe and become independent from it. 281

Great Destruction Cycle

The Great Universe loses origin energy as Chaotic Lifeforms transcend it. Cosmic Lifeforms must repay the debt of their birth before attempting the Ultimate Leap, but the vastly greater origin energy consumed after becoming Cosmic Lifeforms is not included in that repayment. 231 274

• The incomplete Supreme Rule of Time allows this unrepaid loss of origin energy, creating the underlying flaw behind the Era of Great Destruction. 274
• Every Great Destruction cycle produces a smaller Great Universe than the last. 274
• Without intervention, the Great Universe is projected to vanish after eighty million more Great Destruction eras, leaving the Boundless Void in complete darkness. 274
• A Supreme Being’s full-force battle inside the Great Universe can catastrophically accelerate the Great Destruction; Su Yuan’s spear strike in the Boundless Void would have advanced it by ten billion years had it been used within the universe. 300 305

Forbidden Secret Realms

The Nine Forbidden Secret Realms were anchors established within the Great Universe by Chaotic Lifeforms in the Boundless Void. Each realm constantly devoured the universe’s origin while tempting and consuming practitioners who cultivated its lineage. 219

• The realms allowed external Supreme Beings to interfere with the Great Universe despite the universe’s suppression of their power. 219 305
• Their masters were reduced to the level of Cosmic Lifeforms while acting within the Great Universe. 273
