Startled by this strange phenomenon, Han Su sat up straight. A number of thoughts suddenly clicked into place.

Yet nobody had mentioned it. Everything had simply unfolded as if nothing were amiss.
If someone had erased all information about the Mechanical Fragment, that would have seemed more normal.

Someone in the Crystal Skull organization had remembered the Mechanical Fragment all along and knew how important it was. Perhaps that had something to do with their own crystalline nature.
They were also desperate to get their hands on the fragment and had been secretly working toward that goal for a long time.
Even Song Chushi knew what the Crystal Skull was after. He just had no way to get the Mechanical Fragment himself.
So the
