The glass dome was invisible to the naked eye, but he could sense its presence on a mental level.
At that moment, Deputy Captain Shen Qinghui knocked on Han Su's door right on time. She assigned him the north-northwest sector and gave him two passwords. Those were the only two forms of support Han Su would receive from the Knight Errant while carrying out this mission.
One password was a code that allowed free passage through the physical perimeter.
Linyuan City had been completely sealed off, but with this code, Han Su could open a gap in the physical perimeter and pass through freely.
It was an advanced clearance, allowing the holder to open the physical perimeter of any city at will.
In a sense, the physical perimeter was the strongest defensive system a city had. Yet all such perimeters were effectively undefended against the Knight Errant. If a city wanted to stop one of them, it had to assign people specifically to block their way.
The second code was somewhat unexpected: a Cipher Incantation for summoning the Knight's mount, the Nightmare Horse.
The Nightmare Horse was an Abyssal Creature that had signed a contract with the Knight Errant. Born from the shadows, it could carry its rider through the shallow depths of the Abyss, allowing them to appear anywhere in the world in an instant—faster than any means of transportation in the real world.
This Abyssal Creature was also one of the Knight Errant's standard-issue tools.
