"You dare kick my door in? Got an itch for another beating, you piece of trash?" Chang Ping sprang to his feet and strode toward Shen Fei, looking murderous.
He actually dared come here and provoke me. Looks like I didn't beat him hard enough last time. I've been sick of the sight of him for ages. This is the perfect chance to make him a eunuch.
Chang Ping reached out to grab Shen Fei by the collar.
Shen Fei dodged backward and spat a cloud of black smoke from his mouth, right into Chang Ping's face.
"What the hell is that? It stinks!" Chang Ping pinched his nose and fanned frantically. It was the first time he'd seen someone fart through his mouth.
Today was certainly an eye-opening experience.
Shen Fei cackled, then shut the door with a donkey's hoof. He walked over to the table, pulled out a stool from underneath it, and sat down calmly.
"Mr. Wang, long time no see!" Shen Fei grabbed half a roast chicken that had gone cold and started wolfing it down.
Chang Ping wanted to warn him that it was poisoned, but swallowed the words before they could leave his mouth.
People from the Sacred Family were all bad news. Why should he save him?
"What Mr. Wang? Didn't I smash your brain in last time? Get it straight: my surname is Chang, as in ordinary!" Chang Ping found the name somewhat familiar, but couldn't remember where he'd heard it.
Even if Shen Fei had turned into an idiot, Chang Ping wouldn't let him off easily for kicking down his door.
"Weren't you a bastard? Calling you Mr. Wang makes perfect sense, doesn't it?" Shen Fei spat out a chicken bone, turned around, and cackled.
I've made it this obvious. Surely this little brat can figure out who I am?
"Tch! Which bastard came up with this poison? It's completely amateurish. It reeks so badly even an idiot could smell it. You're supposed to use something colorless and odorless!" Shen Fei pointed at the plate of charred chicken bones and criticized the poison with exasperation.
Chang Ping was taken aback, then understood.
"So it's you, you old, immortal snake!" Chang Ping put his hands behind his back and mocked Shen Fei contemptuously, secretly taking the Desert Eagle from his little ring and clicking off the safety.
"Hmph!" Shen Fei slapped the table and stood up, glaring at Chang Ping as he demanded in a sinister voice, "Did you destroy my true body?"
"So what if I did? A wicked demon beast like you deserves to be killed by anyone and everyone." Chang Ping sneered three times. "If I'm not mistaken, that foul fart you just blew out of your mouth must be some kind of poison that kills you if you don't get any sun, right?"
"Don't give my ultimate move some ridiculous nickname. It's called Blackwater Strange Poison." Shen Fei glanced at Shen Xiu, unconscious on the bed. "Looks like that bitch already told you everything. You know that without the antidote, you'll explode and die at this time tomorrow!"
"Watch your mouth! Shen Xiu isn't a bitch. She's my woman! Say another word and I'll rip that foul mouth of yours apart!" Chang Ping stared coldly at Shen Fei. Sure, Shen Xiu had hurt him, but that was between the two of them. It had nothing to do with anyone else.
A day as husband and wife was worth a hundred days of affection. He wouldn't let anyone else badmouth Shen Xiu. He could curse her, but no one else could!
Shen Fei snorted disdainfully. "You're on the brink of death and still running your mouth. Today, both you and that bitch on the bed are going to die. You destroyed my true body. Even grinding you to dust wouldn't ease my rage."
"Want to kill me? Let's see if you're capable of it." Chang Ping swung his arm. A powerful bullet **BANG**ed out of the Desert Eagle, and the thunderous shot made the entire room tremble.
The bullet pierced Shen Fei's forehead, leaving a thumb-sized hole. Blood poured down the bridge of his nose like water from a mountain spring.
With a THUD, Shen Fei fell backward. Before long, a small pool of blood had gathered behind his head.
Afraid Shen Fei wasn't dead yet, Chang Ping raised the pistol and fired wildly, BANG BANG BANG BANG.
He shot him in every vital spot, riddling him like a beehive.
"What was that sound?" Shen Xiu woke at the deafening noise and weakly opened her eyes. She saw Chang Ping standing on the other side of the table, holding a silver-white weapon that kept spitting flames.
With the table skirt in the way, she could only see two feet lying flat on the ground, twitching now and then.
Chang Ping seemed to be attacking someone.
After a quarter of an hour, Chang Ping finally stopped. He picked at his ear with his little finger, which was as thick as a cigar. The gunfire had left him rattled, too.
"Chang Ping, what are you doing?" He vaguely heard a mosquito-like voice. It sounded like Shen Xiu.
He turned toward the bed. Sure enough, Shen Xiu had sat up, her face pale as she looked at him with concern, her mouth moving.
Chang Ping flicked the safety back on, went to the bed, and explained what had just happened.
"Really? Was Shen Fei possessed by the Old Monster?" Shen Xiu wasn't entirely convinced. She'd heard Chang Ping say before that he wouldn't let Shen Fei take the Family Head's seat in the Sacred Family.
It was hard to rule out the possibility that Chang Ping had killed Shen Fei out of spite.
Besides, even if what he said was true, no one but the two of them knew the Old Monster existed.
Outsiders wouldn't believe them. They'd surely think the two of them were lying, that they'd deliberately killed Shen Fei to seize the Family Head's position in the Sacred Family.
"Quick! Hide the body! That noise was too loud. It'll definitely bring the academy instructors!" Shen Xiu urged anxiously. She and Chang Ping were in this together. Even if Chang Ping punched a hole in the sky, she'd have to do everything she could to plug it.
Chang Ping came to his senses, then quickly exchanged for a bottle of Bronze Potion from the shop.
It cost the same as Cold Dispelling Lily Honey and Pheobe Detoxifying Ointment: just 300 Strength Value.
The item was called Corpse Dissolving Water. On contact with a wound, it turned into yellow sludge that dissolved flesh and bone. It was incredibly potent.
Shen Fei was a Silver Demon Spirit Master, but his body was at most as tough as someone at the Bronze rank. A Bronze Potion would be more than enough.
"Shen Fei, Xiangliu, you should never have come to provoke me. You brought your deaths on yourselves."
Eating the corpse would've been faster, but Chang Ping wasn't about to do that.
He wasn't Hannibal.
Besides, Shen Fei was both sweaty and smelly. Who knew whether he'd washed his hands after using the toilet?
"See you in the next life." Chang Ping pulled out the stopper and dripped the black Corpse Dissolving Water onto the wounds.
The wounds immediately sizzled, sending up white smoke and a putrid stench.
Covering his nose and mouth, Chang Ping poured the Corpse Dissolving Water evenly over the bullet holes, so the body would dissolve faster.
The room sizzled. Outside the door, hurried, heavy footsteps approached.
Chang Ping rubbed his ears. From the sound of it, it was the chubby dorm supervisor.
He pulled off the table skirt and hurriedly draped it over the body, then rushed out of the room to intercept the newcomer.
"What was that sound just now?" the chubby dorm supervisor asked groggily. He'd been sleeping soundly when a sudden burst of gunfire had nearly scared him into wetting himself.
Chang Ping shrugged and made something up. "No idea. I was just resting when I heard it, so I ran out. What the hell was that? It was so loud!"
The chubby dorm supervisor sniffed twice, then caught a strange smell. He looked at the closed door behind Chang Ping and asked suspiciously, "What's that smell in your room? Are you grilling meat? Move aside. I'm going in to take a look!" He shoved Chang Ping aside and reached for the doorknob with his pudgy hand.
Chang Ping stumbled. He hadn't expected this seemingly feeble fatso to be a martial arts expert, too.
To shove him aside, he had to have at least Gold-rank strength.
