After discussing the Hell Path, it was time to talk about the Hungry Ghost Path corresponding to the Asura Path. There really was not much to say about this path, either.
The beings of this path had mostly been excessively greedy, consumed by jealousy, and narrow-minded in life, yet had not accumulated particularly grave karmic sins. Thus, they were reborn here.
The beings of the Hungry Ghost Path frequently suffered from hunger and thirst. Whatever they sought remained beyond their reach, and everything they saw transformed into an obstacle. They would never know satisfaction.
This path was meant to temper their dispositions and dissolve their obsessions. Only after the five poisons of greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, and doubt had diminished would they have any hope of escaping.
Moreover, the lord of this path had already been chosen, and Taotie had proven himself more than worthy.
Relying on his closeness to the Hungry Ghost Path, he handled its affairs with ease and was now advancing toward the Primordial Chaos Golden Immortal realm.
The Animal Path naturally corresponded to the Human Dao among the upper three paths.
Generally speaking, the beings who entered reincarnation through the Animal Path did not actually bear particularly grave karmic consequences.
Overall, however, their transgressions still outweighed their merits, which was why they could not enter reincarnation through the upper three paths.
But compared with the souls that needed to be punished through the Hungry Ghost Path or the Hell Path, they were better off by countless times.
Furthermore, the souls accepted by this path were the most complicated and the most numerous.
After all, it was not easy for a person to do good deeds, nor was it easy to do evil deeds. But accidentally trampling flowers and grass or killing snakes, insects, rats, and ants
