In the Eight Sceneries Palace on Mount Xuandu, lamplight flickered. The pressure of four Saints made it impossible for the flames to settle, yet this only showed how extraordinary they were. A faint purple glow flowed through them.
Dao De Tianzun suddenly asked, "Has Junior Brother Yunxiao been arranged for?"
Primordial Heavenly Venerate replied, "Yunxiao has great roots, great fortune, and great divine abilities. I ask you, Senior Brother, to make arrangements for her."
Dao De Tianzun nodded. "I once promised Fellow Daoist Hua Dou that I would see to it properly. Since you believe she has great roots and great fortune, let her attain sainthood through her physical body. I see that the Underworld still has places where its workings are imperfect. Her Hunyuan Golden Dou is itself an object of reincarnation. There is a pool within it—the Reincarnation Pool. Anyone who is not a Primordial Saint who jumps in will have their body reshaped and the memories in their soul erased. It will be just the thing to perfect the Six Paths of Reincarnation."
Dao De Tianzun raised a hand and pointed. Yunxiao's Hunyuan Golden Dou appeared in the air. It was a treasure rooted in Heaven and Earth, capable of giving rise to all postcelestial things. With a series of cracking sounds, the Golden Dou split apart and plunged beneath the Six Paths of Reincarnation. It divided into two halves, revealing a vast ocean within: the Reincarnation Pool. After Dao De Tianzun refined it, the pool no longer exerted a powerful pull to draw in wandering souls and ghosts. It would now submit to the laws of Hell and serve only as the place where life began. Before the Reincarnation Pool lay a golden passage of reincarnation.
Primordial Heavenly Venerate asked, "How will Yunxiao be arranged?"
