Empress Houtu said, "Brother Yuanshi, the Western Teachings have already separated from our Eastern Mystic Gate. You and I both know this. By driving away the Western Saints so forcefully, you risk giving people grounds to criticize you. There may be trouble if you disregard the Master's decree."
Primordial Heavenly Venerate said, "When the Master used the Chaos Bell to disperse Jieyin's divine ability, he was warning him not to overstep. Since Heaven and Earth have laws, even Sages who break them will be punished. Our Western fellow Daoists should not scheme against the East for no reason.
