The entire void was empty, without any sun, moon, or stars. Only a vast island drifted through it. Upon the island stood a glittering golden treasure pagoda, from which countless streams of innate energy drifted out and were absorbed by the two scrolls above it. One was Empress Nuwa's River Mountains Diagram; the other was Empress Houtu's Qiankun Eternal Treasure Diagram.
Just then, a voice rang out. "Congratulations on your rebirth, fellow Daoist. It's just that the power of the Chaos Space we worked so hard to create has all been devoured by you."
Daoist Hunyuan bowed. "With the sages present, I must say that the laws of Heaven in this Chaos Space were incomplete to begin with, so it could never evolve into a complete world. I do owe you quite a debt of karma."
Primordial Heavenly Venerate said, "Fellow Daoist, why not tell us about the method of proving the Dao through strength? That would settle this debt of karma."
Daoist Hunyuan was taken aback, then immediately understood. The primordial spirit of Great God Pangu had split into three, and the opportunities for them to prove the Dao in the future had nothing to do with the Dao of Strength. Each of them possessed some memories of the Dao of Strength, but none had them all. This Dao of Strength forged a path to the Great Dao through destruction and renewal: first, one destroyed the Dao, then established it anew. It was a path that defied Heaven. Beneath Heaven's law, this path was incomparably difficult. To comprehend the Dao deeply, one had to destroy Heaven's law first—and Heaven's law would surely reject that.
Daoist Hunyuan asked, "Do you really want to hear it, fellow Daoist?"
