Gonggong suddenly burst free from the crevice in the mountain and let out a long, furious howl. Strange sounds rang out without pause as he roared at Daoist Hunyuan, though he still feared his opponent's strength.
Daoist Hunyuan gazed at Gonggong and murmured to himself, "So this is strength. You could say strength has no law, yet every law can produce strength. Every attack draws upon the power of the laws between heaven and earth, mimics their patterns, and fuses them into one's own law. The Law of Strength cannot be directly comprehended. It does not exist in a fixed state, nor can it be drawn directly from heaven and earth. One must fight repeatedly, grasp one's own Law of Strength, stabilize one's power, and merge it into the Heavenly Dao."
This was why, despite possessing Great God Pangu's Law of Strength, Hunyuan could not fully wield it. Yet that very power had brought him to the threshold of the Law of Strength. By fusing it with his will and using his own power to draw upon the other laws between heaven and earth, he could condense the Law of Strength.
The Law of Strength could be said to exist within the laws of the Heavenly Dao, yet also beyond them. Every law contained power, but no power existed in a completely fixed form.
Daoist Hunyuan became a streak of Flowing Light and charged at his opponent. He slowly threw a punch. It looked impossibly slow, yet Gonggong could not dodge it. Daoist Hunyuan was not surprised. With this punch, he had drawn upon the Law of Space, the Time Law, and the power of restrictions.
There was no way to dodge it. Worse still, there was nowhere to flee.
"Boom!"
The tremendous force slammed Gonggong back into the mountain.
