The green lotus looked like a towering plant, enormous beyond measure, yet it had only three leaves. Each leaf, however, blotted out the sky and sun. Beneath the lotus stood a golden palace atop the turbid qi. The palace was plain and unremarkable, without a trace of spiritual light.
Great Immortal Yang Mei said, "Thank you, Dao Lord, for bringing this green lotus. It has given us time to catch our breath."
Dao Lord Lu Ya asked, "Brother, have you discerned anything?"
Great Immortal Yang Mei laughed heartily. "Perhaps we were truly mistaken. There may be other laws beyond the Three Thousand Laws."
Dao Ancestor Hongjun said, "I once thought the Law of Creation was merely one of the Three Thousand Laws. Perhaps it is one of the origins."
"Indeed," said Great Immortal Yang Mei. "Creation is the creation of Heaven and Earth, capable of giving rise to Heaven and Earth. Great God Pangu created Heaven and Earth through immense merit, returned to the source, and ultimately attained the Great Dao."
Dao Lord Lu Ya said, "Great God Xuanhuang was born alongside Great God Pangu and eventually became the Will of Heaven and Earth. I wonder what origin he represents."
Great Immortal Yang Mei pondered for a moment. "I suspect his origins may be connected to three things in Heaven and Earth. Like Heaven and Earth and all living beings, they possess three treasures: essence, qi, and spirit. Great God Pangu represents spirit, the divine will of All Spirits. He alone obtained the Origin of Creation and used it to bring forth Heaven and Earth and all things. Great God Xuanhuang should be connected to essence.
