The cries of battle shook the heavens. Deep within this pure land lay a vast battlefield, where not a blade of grass grew. Demonic clouds churned, and killing qi surged skyward. Killing intent had endured for ages beyond counting. Shadowy figures could be seen fighting in the mist—remnants from before the Primordial Era that had never faded despite the passage of countless years. One could only imagine how terrifying the battle had been. Many Primordial-era demons and gods had fallen, leaving behind undying resentment and killing intent, imprinted upon this world.
"Roar..."
From within the dark red flames came a series of roars that sent blood and qi surging and made the body tremble. Wang Mang hurriedly thickened the Light Barrier around the Platform of Investiture before passing through the Spatial Rift. He couldn't help murmuring to himself, "What a terrifying will. After countless years, it's nearly been worn away, yet it still holds such power."
Disaster Beast Fei said, "Huh? Why are the blood and bones gone? Could all of that just now have been an illusion?"
Wang Mang said, "They should be imprints left behind by those gods and demons. Maybe the wills of those who haven't completely faded are at work."
Disaster Beast Fei said, "What a pity. If I could devour the bodies of those gods and demons, my strength would improve quite a bit. Wait, there's something strange about this world."
Wang Mang said, "I feel it too. This world contains a peculiar power. It's as if someone is controlling it."
Disaster Beast Fei said, "Could we have entered a domain world refined by someone else? This could be troublesome."
The mountain peaks within the Black Mist were somewhat indistinct, as if wrapped in a veil of black gauze. They had a hazy, ethereal quality.
