After staying at Xu Family Manor for two days, Yang Tianci said goodbye to the Xu brothers on May 25 and prepared to head to Bangkok Airport to catch a flight back to Yangcheng.

The convoy made its way without a hitch.

In the airport lounge, Xu Xuemeng and Yang Tianci said their farewells reluctantly.

While Yang Tianci waited for his flight, a middle-aged man wearing a baseball cap sat expressionlessly a dozen or so meters away. He stared at the flight information screen, then picked up a copy of Les Misérables and began reading with great interest.

Watching the figures disappear into the boarding tunnel, the middle-aged man smiled and continued reading Les Misérables. His flight to Manila was still an hour and a half away.

When he saw a flight attendant pushing a cart toward him, he raised his hand. "Sorry to trouble you, but could I have a bottle of mineral water?"

"Of course, sir." The flight attendant smiled and handed him a bottle.

Yang Tianci opened it and took a sip.

Hm? Why did it taste metallic? He didn't swallow. Instead, he quickly spat it out to the side.

His assistant asked nervously, "Boss, is something wrong?"

The flight attendant in first class was just as baffled. She asked uncertainly, "Sir, is there something wrong with the mineral water? I'll get you another bottle right away."

The assistant took another bottle of mineral water, then gave a look to the bodyguard beside him
