At the hotel, in Jiang Mian's room.
"Is this enough? I can make more..."
"No, no, this is plenty. Thanks for the effort."
Jiang Mian hurriedly shook her head, cutting Ye Chenyang off.
She held an absurdly long blade in her hand. It was entirely golden, crystal-clear, and wreathed in a faint golden glow.
Clearly, it had been made from high-purity Radiance crystals, completely unlike the weapons Ye Chenyang casually conjured when he fought.
Come to think of it, its material was much like the bracelet he had given Jiang Mian before, but there was far more of it.
Even in its compressed, dormant state, Jiang Mian could feel the [vast] power of Radiance within it.
Its quality and purity were beyond estimation in value out in the world.
And just now, all she had done was mention wanting a lot of Radiance crystals, and Ye Chenyang had conjured them on the spot.
Jiang Mian brought the long blade close and examined it carefully. If she stood it upright on the ground, it would be considerably taller than she was.
At the sight of it, she pursed her lips in displeasure. With a thought, she stowed it away in her space without trying to hide what she was doing.
"All right, Brother Ye. Get some rest first, and we'll head out later."
"Mm."
Ye Chenyang looked at her empty hands, deep in thought.
Actually, when Jiang Mian had taken out that "communication" core, he'd already had his suspicions. But she had never used this sort of ability in front of him, so he hadn't reached a conclusion.
Now, though, he could be sure.
It seemed the boost Sea of Misfortune had given her was substantial—she had even gained the extremely rare attribute of "space."
Seeing Ye Chenyang still standing there
