"Jiang Mian, are you okay?"
Jiang Mian lifted her head and looked at Li Huan in front of her.
"I-I'm fine."
She seemed to have only just recovered from the impact. Shaking her head, she reached down and picked up her "cannon" from the ground beside her. She gave it a shake, trying to fling off the black mud stuck to it.
The mud seemed incredibly sticky, clinging stubbornly to the surface. No matter how hard she shook it, it wouldn't come off.
"What is this?"
Jiang Mian looked at the black mud and furrowed her brow slightly, feeling a little sick.
She was afraid the gun was ruined.
If Li Huan weren't here, she'd have tossed it without a second thought.
"Sluggish Shadow, a three-star Aberrant Remnant. When activated, it rapidly expands and has a slowing and corrosive effect."
Li Huan patiently explained:
"It's very adhesive, too. Without a special cleaning agent, you usually can't get it off."
