From uploading the first word on the evening of June 29, 2023, to typing the final words on April 29, 2024, it took ten months in total.
When I first started writing, I never imagined I'd manage to write over 2.2 million words, especially for a relatively niche series like The Prince of Tennis.

Looking back, I didn't act like an author at all. I never asked about anything or requested anything. My editor was always the one to contact me and tell me when I'd get a recommendation, and all I'd do was reply, "Oh," or, "Okay."
I missed a lot of opportunities. I never asked readers to help boost my follow-through during recommendation periods, either. Back then, I didn't even know how.
