In a real fight to the death, even if Buhara had immediately focused his aura on the back of his neck and used Ko to defend himself, he still wouldn't have escaped injury.
Gelman had gathered his aura so quickly, it was as if it had erupted in an instant.
Buhara was an Enhancer, but in that fight, he had relied more on general advanced techniques like Ken, Ryu, and Ko.
