"Only Those Who Share Our Purpose Can Accompany Us"

Menchi turned to the last person.

"I need to keep accumulating more and more wealth." Shizuku lifted the Inverse Cross Necklace hanging from her chest and showed it to Menchi and Buhara.

She opened her eyes wide and explained her theory with complete seriousness.

"Besides symbolizing humility before God, with whom no one can compare, the inverted cross is also said to represent rebellion."

"My rebellion is that I believe in God, but not in a predetermined fate. I don't think Meteor City's fate is already set in stone."

She lowered her head and kissed the Inverse Cross Necklace, then looked at Gelman.

"The reason I didn't support the Phantom Troupe, but stood on your side, is not only that I've already been recognized as part of your faction. I also hope to find a new opportunity through you."

"There are three paths for Meteor City's fate: maintaining the status quo, the Phantom Troupe's path, and your path."

"I have a strong premonition that you'll throw the entire world's order into chaos."

"Even though I know that the Lantern leads to the Dark Continent, and that it's entangled with V5's interests, you still chose to explore it. I'm certain your actions will change the course of the world."

Gelman listened quietly without answering.

"Companions, huh..." After a long while, Menchi abruptly stood up. "You all know Ging Freecss, the Zodiac Boar, right?"

"Of course." Biscuit wasn't interested in married men or men with children, but Ging was too famous to ignore. "He's the Hunter Association's notorious 'Reckless Idiot.'"

Menchi smiled and nodded.

"People say that, but I actually respect him a lot. I believe many of the people who curse him to his face feel much the same way I do."
