"Split in Two"
Kurapika's eyes opened at that. His right hand, gripping the Chain, trembled slightly—not from fear, but excitement.
"Yes," he replied softly.
Gelman nodded, and when they had crossed another carriage, he stopped.
Kurapika continued running ahead for a short distance.
Gelman watched Uvogin charging after him like a ravenous beast and conjured the Meat Saw. With a swift infusion of Nen Energy, it abruptly transformed into a floating Guillotine!
The Guillotine's blade gleamed. Its slanted surface was covered in countless tiny serrations, as if it had chopped off so many heads that its edge had chipped in places.
Gelman was already a Master of Nen abilities in terms of Aura Gauge capacity. His three Aura Gauges filled much faster than before, and even with the added expenditure, he had Aura to spare.
Now, he could conjure and transform any of his weapons at will.
The moment Uvogin saw Gelman stop, he knew their second round was beginning. Laughing, he cracked his knuckles.
But the Guillotine suddenly swept down—not at Uvogin, but at the coupling between two carriages!
With a clang and a shower of sparks, the Guillotine cleaved clean through the coupling!
In a moment, the train would be split completely in two!
Uvogin and Nobunaga were both startled, and the same thought flashed through their minds almost simultaneously.
Gelman, you bastard!
One leaped from the roof, the other from inside the carriage, and both sprang toward the carriage Gelman was on. In midair, they had nothing to rely on!
They had no choice. Once the carriage Gelman was on came to a stop without the locomotive pulling it, he would soon be able to leap into the woods and widen the gap between them even further.
If they didn't chase him now, they wouldn't catch up
