September 17. Eight days remained until their agreed departure.
The sky suddenly darkened in the afternoon, and then torrential rain poured over the land without restraint.
After that, the weather cleared again. Sunlight shone everywhere, and the downpour from a moment earlier vanished like a gust of wind.
In fact, the storm hadn't come out of nowhere. The Greed Island Management Team had arranged it.
There was no doubt that the island's climate was also under their control.
The bitter cold and scorching heat of the outside world, as well as spring, summer, autumn, and winter, could not easily invade this protected island.
Gelman, Ging, Biscuit, and Shizuku walked out of the freshly washed Rimuru Castle together.
They crossed the damp grass, their footsteps making a collective swish, swish, swish, as though they were walking on a layer of soft green padding.
Now that they had settled on the members of the team that would soon depart, the four decided to train together every day, familiarizing themselves with one another's Nen abilities and building combat rapport.
First, Gelman reported his Nen ability and current status.
His ability was "Conjuration · Hunter Badge / Four Aura Gauges."
Over the past month or so, his Physique and Aura Capacity had each increased by one point, reaching 88 and 94 respectively. His En radius had also expanded from 60 meters to 65 through training.
Among those present, however, the one with the widest En range was, of course, Ging, who ranked among the top five Nen users on the Six Continents.
Gelman could now conjure ten types of Treasure Tools, weapons, and armor. The newest was "Tachi: Senkage," which he had obtained after helping kill Nobunaga.
Next came his Traits: seven Positive Traits and one Negative Trait.
He had no Stress or illnesses.
