Exploding golden light, rippling shock waves, and scattered chunks of flesh filled the entire area, seemingly about to swallow the darkness whole.
But the light vanished in an instant, and darkness took over once more.
"Move." Gelman pointed in one direction without even glancing toward Ging. "Don't stop. Keep formation as much as possible."
"Got it," Biscuit and Shizuku replied.
The three of them shot out of the gate like three arrows, racing away beneath the shadow of the golden Nen Bullet. In the blink of an eye, they had cleared the area where the explosion had gone off.
But soon, enormous, terrifying monsters came surging in from every direction. The second wave of monsters had arrived.
Gelman, Biscuit, and Shizuku all knew there was no way to hide and avoid a fight, so they charged straight at the monsters—towering creatures whose shadows alone could swallow them whole.
With a shout, Biscuit, now gigantic, thrust out a palm. A blast of Nen Energy slammed into a boar-like monster, knocking it to the ground and leaving a crater in the earth.
Shizuku sucked the rubble around them into Deme-chan, then fired it out piece by piece at the monsters, disrupting their movements and judgment.
Gelman was already sprinting up the arm of a monster resembling a giant bear standing on its hind legs. The Spiral Cane in his hand transformed into a Giant Spear, which he hurled!
