Gelman was also worried that Shizuku and Menchi might accumulate too much pressure and have it affect their minds.
When their Pressure Value exceeded 100 points, they wouldn't get the "Virtue" bonus, but they would suffer Grudge similar to "Torment," until they reached the ending where they "died of Mental Exhaustion."
Considering the state of this wilderness, they might end up in a terrible state: their bodies would never die, and their vengeful spirits would endure forever.
That was something none of them wanted to see.
If Gelman accumulated too much pressure, there was at least a chance it might turn a bad thing into a good one. But if anyone else accumulated too much pressure, things would definitely end badly.
Worse still, while suffering "Torment," they might do something crazy or mutter deliriously, affecting Gelman, Ging, and Biscuit as well.
Gelman would be fine. He was used to it by now.
But Ging and Biscuit had never experienced "Pressure Surges" or "Torment."
They might end up like dominoes, all four of them suffering "Torment" after a chain reaction.
By then, Gelman wouldn't get any feedback from his teammates, or the feedback he received might be negative. That would be a huge problem.
