As if the rock strata were pig iron and his fists were hammers, Chairman Netero slammed punch after punch into the ground. His training clothes, embroidered with the character for "heart," fluttered around him.
"Boom—"
He focused on "forging iron" and didn't even glance toward Gelman, but Gelman knew he must have noticed his approach long ago.
"Boom—"
Gelman watched for a while, then turned toward the depths of the forest. His expression was calm, and he said nothing.
You've been watching me for this long. You can come out now, can't you?

An old, weathered voice came from the forest, but two figures emerged, one tall and one short.
Zeno Zoldyck stood with his hands behind his back. The words "Active for Life" were emblazoned across his hunched chest, and he wore a grin like an evil wolf.
"You sensed our presence long ago, didn't you? The flow of Nen Energy doesn't lie. We assassins hate people who stay on their guard like this. It makes our job harder."
Gelman answered Zeno's question with his usual silence.
Zeno didn't get angry. He merely chuckled twice and shook his head.
