"Tongue of Theft" had lost its head. In its place was a black, torch-like pedestal.
A blue orb floated above it, with a sinister golden slit pupil inside.
Its arms and legs were made of massive blocks of stone, as though it wore a suit of exceptionally sturdy armor.
Its right hand held a long-handled, square-headed warhammer, while its left held a broad shield.
It stood there, imposing and majestic, like a Titan descended to earth.
Boom—
"Tongue of Theft" raised its warhammer and shield. One strike sent sparks flashing between them, which transformed into lightning and then twisted into the "Dragon of Thunder"!
The "Dragon of Thunder" coiled, then swooped down through the air. Amid crackling thunder and lightning, it lunged at Gelman with blinding speed, snapping at him without warning!
At the same time, "Tongue of Theft" struck its warhammer and shield again, as if cheering on the "Dragon of Thunder."
Boom—
The instant the warhammer struck the shield, a blinding white light, bright enough to sting and dazzle, engulfed the entire underground cavern!
But "Tongue of Theft" was forced to shut its golden slit pupil for that instant, too.
Gelman's eyelids and eyeballs stung and burned with dryness, forcing him to close his eyes.
He could only fight in the world of blinding light by relying solely on his "En" and his exceptional reflexes.
A terrifying roar and destructive force came straight at him. He abruptly dodged, leaping and weaving through the air!
Crash—
The "Dragon of Thunder" tore through the ground and blasted out a terrifying crater, but its attack missed.
As the white light faded, "Tongue of Theft" suddenly sensed a threat rushing toward it.
Its golden slit pupil snapped open, glaring fiercely at a dark figure before it!
