Afterward, Menchi used one of the Nitoromi Fruits to cook up a delicious dish.
Buhara tasted it again. His narrowed eyes widened and lit up once more as he gave Menchi a thumbs-up.
"Delicious, delicious... This Nitoromi Dish is both tasty and nutritious, Menchi. Your cooking is amazing!"
Menchi said smugly, "Of course! I'm going to become the world's number-one Gourmet Hunter. How could I settle for anything less?"
The others also picked up their chopsticks and tried a piece or two. Before long, they were all praising Menchi's skills.
It was beyond question that she was a culinary genius. She had cooked Nitoromi for the first time, yet her instincts alone had been enough to create such a dish.
Meanwhile, Shubika quietly performed a second "Physique Check and Medical Record" on Buhara, comparing the new data with the previous results.
Still wearing her mask, she looked a little timid as she told the others, "Menchi's cooking... didn't cause much loss of nutrients... I think... the amount lost... is almost negligible."
Everyone was quite satisfied with that.
As for whether Nitoromi could extend one's lifespan, that was no longer in question. Don Freecss having lived for over three hundred years was the best proof.
The only question was how much lifespan a single Nitoromi Fruit could add.
That would require a joint study by Shubika, Menchi, and Buhara.
After all, "lifespan" was a rather abstract concept.
People could die either of natural causes or in an accident. How was "lifespan" supposed to apply to both?
"Vitality" was the best way to bridge the gap.
The greater one's vitality, the longer it took for natural death to arrive, the higher the threshold for being mortally wounded in an accident, and the greater one's resistance to fatal injuries.
That was probably how
