The group who had come with him had been looking around curiously. Now they all turned to look at him.

Suddenly, the mechanical door to the secret room slid open, and someone walked in.
Under the lights of the research lab, his face came into view. He was a boy with short blond hair, who looked to be about the same age as Killua and Gon.
But those who knew him knew he was a contemporary of Ging, Doon, and Leol.
"Looks like I got here at just the right time." List stood with his hands behind his back. Dressed in suspenders like a young model in a fashion boutique, he smiled.
Everyone else was startled to see him enter, but Gelman and Shizuku weren't surprised.
For one thing, both Gelman and Shizuku had sensed List approaching.
For another, they knew that List had already cut off the control center's surveillance of this room.
He had changed the system so that whenever the Teleportation Point showed any activity, a report would be sent to the orbs carried by Chairman Netero, List, and a select few others.
It was a precaution. They didn't want anyone outside the core team—especially anyone from the V6 reinforcement fleet—to learn what was happening in this room through the control center.
