Before Gelman, Biscuit, and the others appeared a headless, four-legged, two-armed beast. Its torso was built somewhat like a centaur's.
It stood about five meters tall. Its primate-like upper body was grafted onto the lower half of a deer, and its entire body was covered in shaggy black fur. Its appearance was utterly bizarre.
Where its head should have been, the neck ended in a dark red stump, its flesh bulging outward.
Several thick vines protruded from the stump. One of them had a short section missing, and the rest swayed as nimbly as tentacles.
Its right hand clutched a massive head—its own. It looked like an enlarged moose's head.
But its eyes were cloudy, maggots writhed in its flesh, and flies buzzed around it. It looked as though it had been dead for some time.
A pair of enormous antlers, over two meters long, grew from either side of its head. They were so thick and curved that they looked like a pair of lances.
As for its left arm, everything below the elbow was missing. In its place was a massive golden-silver sphere, round and full, with not a seam in sight.
Its entire body was wrapped in a lightweight "Defense Aura Shield," making it look like a tank!
Everyone frowned at the bizarre monster and braced themselves for battle.
