You could tell from how smoothly the Marines carried out their actions that they did this kind of thing all the time!

"What about that recruit?"

Only after ordering the warship to flee did the commander come over. He looked hesitant. If the recruit really died, he would bear no small share of the responsibility!

"What about him?"

"The ones who should be worrying about that now are the Big Saber Pirates. Facing Luo Sa, who can command the wind, they're in for a miserable end!"

Hina and the others exchanged glances, smiles appearing in their eyes.

"Oh? The Big Saber Pirates are in for a miserable end?"

The commander blinked, not quite understanding what they meant.

He looked over and saw cannonballs suddenly exploding in midair, like beautiful fireworks blooming one after another.

"So fast! Those bombs were all cut apart!" The commander stared in stunned disbelief.

Was this really a recruit?

Even if he was from the Elite Camp, wasn't he a little too strong?

"Kid, you're the first person who's dared to charge straight at the Big Saber Pirates!"

"Should I call you confident, or just looking to die?!"

The pirates of the Big Saber Pirates looked completely unconcerned by Luo Sa, who had come alone to provoke them. They had roamed the South Blue for so long that they had long forgotten what it meant to be wary!

"You've made me angry!"

Luo Sa transformed into a Winged Gull and hovered above the pirate ship. Visible rings of wind circled his body as an invisible aura began to spread.

"Then feel the fury of the sea!"

Hurricane, Sea Tornado!

Just as transforming into a Fighting-type Pokémon greatly improved his control over his body,

after transforming into a Marill, he felt that his sensitivity to Water Power had also increased tremendously!

As always, he couldn't use Water Attribute powers, but that didn't stop him from relying on the hurricane to unleash this Sea Tornado over the ocean!

With a flap of Luo Sa's wings, an enormous tornado suddenly appeared over the sea. It pierced the heavens and soared into the clouds. The seawater was swept up into it with a mighty roar, spiraling toward the sky along the tornado!

"Not good!"

"Helmsman, turn the ship!"

"Run!!"

The pirates of the Big Saber Pirates had been watching Luo Sa leisurely, waiting for him to come down so they could teach the arrogant Marine a lesson with their fists!

But now, faced with the Sea Tornado charging straight at them, they panicked. Every one of them wished they had wings so they could flee far away from this disaster that had suddenly descended upon them!

This was a natural disaster. It was beyond anything human strength could withstand!

"Damn it, get out of my way!" Lagdo, captain of the Big Saber Pirates, snarled. He raised his saber and slashed at the Sea Tornado!

As a man with a 50-million-Beli bounty on his head, Lagdo naturally had some skill!

But the blade of light he sent flying looked so small compared to the enormous Sea Tornado!

Boom!!

The Sea Tornado crashed into them, completely ignoring Lagdo's slash, and slammed into the pirate ship.

Splinters flew everywhere. The Sea Tornado sheared off a corner of the ship in an instant, then continued onward, swallowing the entire vessel!

"Damn it! You brats, fire the cannons and blow it apart!" Lagdo charged at the Sea Tornado again, shouting as he went.

The pirates had no time to steer or set sail. They scrambled to haul the cannons around and fired cannonballs at the Sea Tornado!

"I told you, you're making me really angry!"

Luo Sa's eyes widened. A faint energy began to surge within him, pouring continuously into the Sea Tornado before him!

"Now I'll show you what a real Twister looks like!"

Dragon Power, Twister!

That power came from the Dragon Attribute energy within the Winged Gull!

And Twister was the only Dragon Attribute move a Winged Gull could use!

Boom!

The Sea Tornado suddenly grew several times stronger, swallowing the entire pirate ship in an instant!

Crack! Crack!

The pirate ship began to break apart inside the Sea Tornado. The pirates aboard it were torn apart as well, all of them turning into clouds of blood and vanishing from the world forever!

In the distance,

the Marine commander and the other Marines aboard the warship nearly dropped their jaws to the deck. Their faces were filled with disbelief.

Wasn't that a recruit?

Why was he so terrifying?

That was a Great Pirate with a 50-million-Beli bounty, the ruler of this stretch of the South Blue!

And just like that... he was gone?

"That guy seems even stronger now!" Smoker and the others exchanged glances, their expressions bitter.

Without them realizing it, Luo Sa seemed to have widened the gap between them even more!

After confirming that all the pirates within the Sea Tornado were dead, Luo Sa finally stopped channeling his energy. The Sea Tornado gradually shrank until it disappeared.

Phew.

Suddenly, the Winged Gull in the sky staggered, barely managing to keep from falling.

"Phew, looks like I overdid it. A Sea Tornado that powerful nearly drained all my stamina and mental energy!" Luo Sa gasped, his face exhausted.

Although this move was a disaster-level attack at sea, its cost was truly terrifying.

"Go clean up the battlefield. If we're lucky, we'll find something."

Luo Sa slowly descended onto the warship. He frowned at the Marines standing around in a daze. The West Blue Marines really were a poor lot. No wonder pirates were so brazen in these waters.

"Oh, right. Yes." The commander finally came to his senses and hurriedly ordered the warship toward the pirate ship's wreckage.

"It seems the West Blue is about to undergo a major change!"

The thought surfaced in the minds of all the Marines. One by one, they looked with admiration at the five people standing on the deck.

"How are you, Luo Sa?" The others gathered around him, looking at his exhausted face.

"I'm fine. I just didn't expect that move to take so much out of me." Luo Sa rubbed his forehead. The combined emptiness of his body and mind left him feeling awful.

The others rolled their eyes at his answer. If he could casually unleash attacks like that, then they might as well jump into the sea, despite being self-proclaimed geniuses!

"But you really did it this time, Luo Sa. With that one move, you earned 500 Military Merit. That was way too easy!" Hina said with a beaming smile.

"A pirate with a 50-million-Beli bounty is worth 500 Military Merit?!" Luo Sa's eyes lit up.

"Yep. Pirates with 50-million-Beli bounties aren't exactly common on the sea!"

"In that case, let's turn the whole West Blue upside down!!"
