Representatives from the races stationed at the embassies of each Sequence had all arrived, seated according to their Sequences' rankings.
Humanity was still at the bottom of the rankings. Clearly, ever since the Star Ruins War, no race had won the Holy Star's game.
Freya slammed her hand on the table and sprang to her feet, fury in her eyes.
"Explain yourselves! Why aren't you letting humanity take part in this Sequence War? We applied six months ago! But the Holy Law Association has kept putting us off with all sorts of excuses, dragging this out until now!"
"And now you're saying our application was rejected? Am I supposed to believe you're targeting the human race?"
Freya wasn't the only one who was furious. Cooper and Shirley, who had come to the meeting with her, were just as incensed.
Tiffany said coolly, "Sequence representative, please calm down. You must request permission to speak before addressing the meeting. If you continue acting out, I may have to send in the Law Enforcement Unit to suppress you."
"You say the Holy Law Association is targeting humanity? Don't be ridiculous. The other Sequences have all abstained. How is that targeting humanity?"
