On the edge of a forest, a young man stood quietly.
Facing him, over a dozen warriors looked on with grim expressions, appearing very tense, as if facing a great enemy.
In reality, it was indeed so.
A single Knight-level powerhouse, if not held back by an opponent of equal strength, could single-handedly wipe out over a dozen elite warriors with little suspense.
"Are you people from Arcadia?"
Standing in place, looking at Aisila opposite him, Arthur suddenly spoke.
Across from him, Aisila and the others were stunned. Before they could even reply, they heard Arthur continue to mutter to himself, "No, that's not right."
"Although Arcadia is known as the foremost Knight in the North, he wouldn't have too many Knights under him. They're needed in more places. He shouldn't be sending two Knights here."
As Arthur spoke, a flash of sword light suddenly appeared to his side, and a figure darted out from the side.
This person wore a suit of light green leather armor, blending in with the surroundings. Furthermore, they seemed to have practiced some special technique, moving without a sound.
Sensing the sword wind coming from his side, Arthur shifted his body slightly, dodging the attack right before the other person's disbelieving eyes.
The pale green Life Energy fluctuations gradually dissipated on the longsword, which then thrust towards Arthur from an incredible angle.
The short distance of a few meters passed in a flash.
Just as the longsword was about to pierce Arthur's chest, Arthur moved his feet, stepping back. Then, a point of black sword energy lit up on his hand.
Clang!!!
The longswords collided violently. As the weapons met, Life Energy clashed within them, emitting a startling sound.
Arthur applied a slight force, and before the other person's disbelieving eyes, a powerful force surged from the longsword, sending him flying backward.
The Knight Secret Skill was forcibly interrupted. The person felt a sharp pain in their chest and, after falling to the ground, spat out a mouthful of blood.
Arthur and the other person moved too quickly. By the time everything was over, only Aisila among those present had reacted slightly. He now charged towards Arthur with his sword.
Upon seeing Arthur's performance, he held nothing back, his aura becoming sharp.
A pounding sound came from within him as his Life Seed erupted in an instant. His muscles instantly solidified, appearing powerful and imposing, and his entire presence surged.
"Target has entered Life Seed burst state! Initiate immediate interruption!"
In his mind, the mechanical prompt of the Chip sounded.
Looking at the person charging at him, Arthur's expression was calm. He simply raised his longsword slightly forward and then slashed down fiercely.
The longsword chopped downward, Life Energy condensing within it, unleashing terrifying power. Combined with Arthur's own terrifying physical prowess, its might was no less than a full-powered strike from a peak Knight.
A sharp sword wind whistled forward, reaching Aisila from afar, causing his expression to change as he felt a deathly threat.
"I can't block it!!" In that instant, this thought flashed through his mind, and he leaped sharply to the side, dodging the attack at the last possible moment.
A sword wind, as if tangible, raged before his eyes and struck a large tree several meters away, cutting it directly in half. The thick trunk fell diagonally to the ground with a heavy thud.
Looking at this power, Aisila broke out in a cold sweat.
That last strike, if it had hit a person directly, even one wearing heavy full plate armor, would likely have cut them in half at the waist without any question.
Seeing the person dodge, Arthur was not disappointed, his expression remaining calm.
He took a step forward, his immense agility allowing him to cover the distance in a second or two, arriving before the group of warriors.
Shink!
The sound of a longsword piercing flesh quickly rang out. Before Arthur, several heads flew off, followed by several headless corpses falling to the ground, appearing astonishingly efficient.
Though the warriors before him were not bad, possessing well-trained bodies that surpassed ordinary people and clad in leather armor, they offered no resistance before Arthur.
Their reaction speed was too slow. Even if they saw Arthur's movements, their bodies and brains couldn't react, let alone keep up with his actions.
While the crude leather armor offered some protection, Arthur had excellent control over his body and remarkable precision, never striking at the armored areas.
With the Chip present, even in high-speed combat, Arthur could quickly analyze the enemy's weaknesses. Essentially, every strike was aimed at the most efficient and convenient spot, without any hesitation.
Warriors like these, if not for their sheer numbers forming a encirclement, would pose little threat to Arthur.
Several longswords flashed, striking at Arthur simultaneously.
After Arthur killed a few of them, the warriors before him seemed to have finally reacted and began to surround him.
Arthur's body flickered, and he stepped back before they could form a complete encirclement. The longsword in his right hand swung backward, striking a person's chest plate and sending them flying, crashing heavily to the ground with a groan.
He charged forward alone with his sword, maintaining an efficient and swift combat rhythm. Basically, with every strike, one person would fall to his hand.
Behind him, Aisila exchanged a glance with another Knight. Taking advantage of Arthur's slaughter of the warriors, they charged forward, preparing to encircle him along with the ordinary soldiers.
With two Knights joining the fray, Arthur's pressure increased significantly, and the originally efficient rate of slaughter inevitably slowed down.
However, it only slowed down.
At a certain moment, Arthur's speed suddenly increased, and he appeared before Aisila in an instant.
Looking at the figure before him, a look of astonishment appeared on Aisila's face. Instinctively, he wanted to draw his sword and slash forward.
His body had just registered this reaction, and before his sword was even raised, a sudden chill ran through his chest.
A black longsword quietly pierced his chest, emerging from the other side of his body.
Arthur's hand trembled, and the Life Energy attached to his longsword immediately scattered outward, directly destroying the organs within the opponent's body.
"You!" Looking at the black longsword appearing in his chest, Aisila's eyes widened.
He opened his mouth, seemingly wanting to say something, but as his body's strength gradually faded, he ultimately lost the energy and his body fell backward.
After his death, the previously explosive state of the Life Seed immediately vanished, returning to its original form.
Quietly drawing his sword from the corpse, Arthur turned and looked at the last few remaining warriors behind him, a calm smile on his face. "Warm-up is over."
After saying this, he slowly raised his right hand, and a point of silver Battle Qi light gradually appeared.
On the opposite side, sensing this silver radiance, the sole remaining Knight powerhouse's eyes widened, his heart filled with despair.
