Although he had begun traveling more than half a year ago, in a sense, Arthur's journey had not gone smoothly.
As he had hoped, he had found many traces left behind by the Supreme Experts of the past, along with some clues and a few gains.
But clearly, none of the things he had found were what he was looking for.
As he traveled across the world, Arthur had been searching for information left behind by those Supreme Experts, such as records concerning the World Tree and other things of value.
But he had found none of it.
The traces of the past seemed to have been damaged and disrupted. Even places that might have yielded something had often been thoroughly destroyed, with little of use left behind.
Under normal circumstances, this would not have happened.
But this world had seen too many Supreme Experts pass through it.
The Supreme Experts who had come before Arthur must naturally have had the same idea he did.
As a result, too many Supreme Experts had already left their footprints in the more obvious places.
Their auras had intertwined, canceled one another out, and clashed. Without a sound, they had worn away the traces of the past, making it impossible to trace them back.
Given these circumstances, it was nearly impossible to find any clues in those places.
So despite searching for more than half a year, Arthur had gained very little.
In another respect, however, he had made some considerable progress.
A pawn he had casually set in motion earlier had given him a pleasant surprise half a year later.
The Church of Light founded by Maolora worshiped the Lord of Light, who was, naturally, Arthur.
However, Arthur had not paid much attention to the Church of Light. He had merely offered
