Li Kai was a little puzzled when he received Qin Lin's call. "Young Brother Qin, what do you need this late at night?"
Qin Lin made up an excuse. "Elder Brother Li, come over to the manor. I'll treat you to a drink!"
The offer clearly worked. Li Kai was immediately tempted. He said he'd be right over and hung up.
Qin Lin didn't hold back. He went to the wine cellar, took out a bottle of Qinglin Medicinal Wine and some glasses, then returned to the manor park.

He figured Young Brother Qin had deliberately made up an excuse to give him some wine. In a little while, he could sneak the bottle away without anyone noticing.

Its gentle glow spread over the surroundings, casting a dreamlike hue over the flowers, grass, and trees.
After sitting down, Qin Lin noticed Elder Wu Kai painting. The old man seemed completely absorbed, lost in his own world, and hadn't noticed them arrive.
What was more, he was painting at an astonishing speed, nothing like his usual pace.
