Qin Lin controlled the Game Character out of the ranch and followed the newly appeared temporary map toward Mount Shengmu.
After entering the mountain path, he saw that it had indeed changed a little. Several new forks had appeared.
They were the paths shown on the map Thomas had given him. There were four in total, and only one led to the Goblins' home.
What's more, the four paths led in completely different directions.
Seeing this, Qin Lin decisively chose one of them.
Did he even need to choose?
This wasn't a choice at all. It was practically a free point!

Today, he was on a lucky streak. The answer to the question had practically been put right in front of him.
He controlled the Game Character and followed the path straight ahead. At the end, he saw a short, green-skinned figure with an exclamation mark over his head.
Qin Lin thought, I knew it.
How could someone as lucky as him pick the wrong path?
He immediately controlled the Game Character to approach and click on the green-skinned Goblin.
Normally, clicking on him should have brought up dialogue.
But this time, a row of question marks appeared over the Goblin's head:

Qin Lin was stunned.
What did that mean?
Wasn't Thomas's quest supposed to continue once he found this Goblin?
Could he need some kind of item?
That didn't make sense. Even if he needed an item, the game should have told him.
Instead, it had shown him a row of question marks. What was he supposed to do with that?
If it really needed an item, it should at least tell him what it was.
Then Qin Lin suddenly realized
