Duo Ba looked at Optimus Prime and was astonished to find that Optimus Prime was looking right back at him.
"What the hell?" Duo Ba sensed something was wrong and instinctively stepped back.
Just then,
Optimus Prime spoke. "Pirates, it's a pleasure to meet you. I hope you enjoy your little robbery—though it may be your last."
The voice caught every pirate's attention. One by one, they all turned to look at Optimus Prime.
Megatron moved, too.
He even pulled the long-handled axe from his back and said arrogantly to the pirates, "Pirates, congratulations. You've been surrounded."
The pirates were all dumbfounded.
They couldn't even figure out what was happening.
Optimus Prime and Megatron had appeared on this merchant ship, and the two of them were talking to the pirates—or, more accurately, taunting them.
Of course, it was the operators controlling Optimus Prime and Megatron who were speaking remotely.
Even so, the pirates were thoroughly shaken.
Optimus Prime and Megatron only existed in movies. How could they be talking to them?
One pirate thought of something and hurriedly said, "Mr. Duo Ba, they're definitely just models. Someone on the ship must be controlling them and putting on a ghost show."
Duo Ba thought that made perfect sense and immediately shouted to his men, "Destroy them! They think they can pull this kind of crap on us?"
No matter how spooky these models acted, they were still just empty props. What good could they possibly do?
The pirates didn't hesitate, either. They all grabbed their weapons and opened fire on Optimus Prime and Megatron.
