In the old version of the game, the Jade of Truth was a very special item.
The old version didn't show stamina, fatigue, or some of the other stats.
With the Jade of Truth, players could see those numbers.
But when playing the old version, players didn't seem to care much about stamina or fatigue. When the Game Character got tired, they simply sent them home to rest.
Yet the Jade of Truth was treated as one of the game's special, mysterious items, and players had to complete a special quest to get it. It seemed pretty useless.
All he could say was that the game's item designers really weren't very good.
Later, in newer versions, the game kept up with the times and displayed stamina and fatigue, so the item became even less useful.
In fact, many versions dropped the Jade of Truth altogether and didn't include it in the game.
But this new version had evidently kept the item. Qin Lin just didn't know what effect the Jade of Truth would have in this version.
With that in mind, he had the Game Character click "Accept" and took the quest.
