Ji Xuan ordered Spirit Hall to launch the Soul Hunting Operation and destroy the Tang Sect and other enemies. Spirit Hall wiped out the Tang Sect, Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and Clear Sky Sect, leaving the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect as the only one of the Upper Three Sects still standing.

• After learning that Tang San had founded the Tang Sect and sailed for Sea God Island, Ji Xuan ordered Ghostly and Yang Wudi to destroy the Tang Sect.
• Ghostly and Yang Wudi led a Spirit Hall force in a surprise attack on the Tang Sect, killing its defenders and leaders, including Niu Gao, Tai Tan, and Bai He, before burning the headquarters.
• Chrysanthemum Douluo, Huo Wu, Huo Wushuang, and Feng Xiaotian led the assault on the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, killing Yu Yuanzhen and Yu Luomian while Yu Tianheng escaped the attack.

Heaven Dou surrendered after Spirit Hall forces captured a third of its territory, while the campaign against Star Luo continued.

• Ji Xuan established the Spirit Hall Empire, made Spirit Hall its state religion under Qian Renxue, and issued decrees ending services and subsidies for people outside the empire.
• Ji Xuan appointed Feng Xiaotian to lead the campaign against Heaven Dou and Yue Guan and Ghostly to attack Star Luo.

Nine months into his seclusion, Tang San and Bibi Dong attacked Spirit City, and Qian Renxue and Shui Bing'er fought them in the sky as Shui Bing'er began to lose ground against Tang San.

Ji Xuan defeated Tang San and Bibi Dong, destroying their Divine Sparks and erasing Tang San’s allies. After the battle, he told Qian Renxue who had killed her father and restored Shui Bing’er’s Divine Spark, leaving Qian Renxue to confront Bibi Dong.
